In-N-Out in San Francisco, CA was forced to close over their refusal to enforce the city’s vaccine mandate. San Francisco city officials forced In-N-Out to close because their staff wouldn’t check customers’ vaccination status. Arnie Wensinger, the company’s chief legal and business office said in a statement, “We refuse to become the vaccination police for any government,” Also, “It is unreasonable, invasive and unsafe to force our restaurant associates to segregate customers into those who may be served and those who may not.” Wensinger finished with, “We fiercely disagree with any government dictate that forces a private company to discriminate against customers who choose to patronize their business. This is clear governmental overreach and is intrusive, improper, and offensive”.
